After embracing his Nigerian roots and really discovering his sound, actor-singer Rotimi returned Friday (May 24) along with his sultry Stroll With Me EP. The anticipated effort arrives primarily freed from options, sans the lone visitor look from reggae artist Vanessa Bling. WWM serves as Rotimi’s debut beneath EMPIRE distribtion.
“This project is my baby. It’s completely me. I tried to keep it as authentic as possible, sticking to my roots and take everyone on a journey with me of where my life is at and I’m excited to share this piece of me with the world,” the Energy star defined in a press release through press launch.
The R&B effort is powered by beforehand launched single “Love Riddim,” because the island-tinged monitor has gone on to turn into a fan favourite of types since its April launch. “I think that we’re in a climate where there’s so much stress and anger and evil. I wanted something that led with the word love. Rhythm is kind of just your interpretation of sound, movement, vibes and a rhythm is definitely a thing where other people are involved, so I wanted it to be basically a way of saying ‘spread love,'” he instructed Hollywood Life of the tune’s inspiration.
